For the lecture, this course deals with the principles of heredity and variation; its application in plant and animal breeding, and problems involved in it. It also includes biometrical treatment and qualitative and quantitative characters of both plants and animals. While for the laboratory, These course deals with exercises on chromosomal basis of inheritance, structure of genetic material and Mendelian and Non-Mendelian inheritance.
