SC EE 9 – The Teaching of Science

This course provides a comprehensive study of the theoretical and practical foundations of science instruction in secondary education. It examines curriculum goals, content selection and organization, instructional materials, assessment practices, classroom management, and innovative teaching strategies. Anchored on the mission to equip and enhance instructional facilities for the enrichment of the teaching–learning process, the course emphasizes the effective selection, development, and utilization of instructional resources and learning environments. Through guided classroom observation and demonstration teaching, students develop reflective practice and instructional competence aligned with professional teaching standards.
